How to keep your personal life separate from work: Tips from business partners 同心合一 事业伴侣如何做到公私分明 Article by: Icon Singapore on https://www.iconsingapore.com/people/how-to-keep-your-personal-life-separate-from-work-tips-from-business-partners/ 相处易共事难，要如何找到平衡点？且听三对夫妻、姐妹与好友分享一起经营事业的心得。 两个半圆 蔡荣光/Kevin Chua 、Iroshini Chua 斜杠人生是目前的流行语，说的是拥有不同职业和身份的人。 对本地医生夫妻Kevin Chua与Iroshini Chua 来说，斜杠也代表着他们身份的转变，更是把圆切成一半的那条中间线。他们夫妻，各自就是一个半圆，组合在一起，就是圆满。 多年来，这对夫妻早已被外界视为”一体“ ，在工作上展现了完美的分工与默契。要如何让这个圆一直饱满完美，像打太极一样，一进一退都是优雅，靠的是多年的相处和磨合。 不久前夫妻把原址在红山的诊所Dr Kevin Chua Medical & Aesthetics Clinic 迁至乌节路闹市中心。新诊所一改中规中矩的设计，以柔和的粉嫩色系搭配金铜色设计的家具以及柔和的灯光，营造一种舒服又宜人的氛围。 迁址是事业新的里程碑，亦是Kevin与Iroshini的一致决定。他们表示：“越来越多客人要求我们搬到更方便的市中心。我们也希望有一个可以让人更放松的舒适空间，花了好几年的时间找寻，终于找到一个闹中取静的绝佳地点。虽然市中心租金不便宜，不过客人开心就好，这个地点对我们的海外客人也更便捷。” Iroshini说：“我们从大学开始就被大家视为一对连体婴，毕业后在医院上班时我们也会互相帮忙，当一方忙碌时，另一方总会伸出援手以减轻对方的工作量。 久而久之，我们已培养了良好的默契，并且合作无间。” Iroshini认为老公Kevin不管于公于私，态度或处理事情的方式都是一样的。“他平和沉稳、做事有条有理，不管处于什么岗位都是如此。” Kevin对太太更是赞誉有加。 “Iroshini做事非常有条理。她非常会照顾别人，不管对家人还是对病患，她会花时间跟他们相处、悉心照料。 在工作岗位上，她是很棒的领导人，非常有远见。在家，她反而会比较放松，还会容忍孩子们的胡闹。” ? 凡事共同进退，长期相处也让夫妻俩磨合出一套处事的潜规则。Kevin说：“Iroshini是我俩之间比较有远见的那一位，所以我遇到重大决定，我们都是以她的决定为准。” 工作是感情的养分，偶尔也是引起茶杯里风波的主因。Iroshini说：”我们当然会有意见不合的时候。比如引进新仪器的时候，两个人还没能达到共识前，我们是不会引进那部新仪器的。这么做的好处是，我们两位医生在沟通的过程中找到共同的理念。” 夫妻不比已有家室的兄弟姐妹，下班后各自回家，还有一个喘息的空间； 每天同进同退的夫妻要如何做到公私分明，随时抽离工作角色回归家庭，那条隐形的线该如何设定？外人看似难题，Kevin却早已习以为常，身份转换就在瞬间完成。“在诊所，我们把注意力放在病人和工作上；下班后就把焦点放在孩子以及另一半身上。我们都喜欢运动，会一起去攀岩，也会跟孩子一玩游戏以及吃晚餐。” 这对夫妻非常喜欢旅行，也常常与家人结伴旅行。这些时光对他们来说，就是完完整整不受干扰的家庭乐。旅行让他们一起学习新的文化，从而加强家庭凝聚力，大自然让他们放松，一起探索新事物更是感情的调味料，让平时一成不变的生活变得更丰富有趣 Share …
