Radiofrequency
Treatment

Radiofrequency treatment is a non-surgical option designed to address skin laxity, fine lines, and wrinkles. It uses radiofrequency energy to heat deeper layers of tissue, stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin fibers. This process may help in smoothing skin and reducing signs of aging. All treatments are performed by qualified medical practitioners following an in-person consultation to assess suitability.

Our clinic provides licensed healthcare services including radiofrequency treatments for skin tightening. Our clinic is registered with the Ministry of Health (MOH) in Singapore and adheres to all relevant regulations under the Healthcare Services Act.

How It Works

The treatment involves applying multi-polar radiofrequency combined with pulsed electromagnetic fields to the targeted areas. This gently heats the tissue beneath the skin’s surface, encouraging collagen and elastin regeneration. Outcomes can vary based on individual factors such as skin type and condition.

Benefits of Radiofrequency Treatment

  • Suitable for various skin tones.
  • May lead to smoother and tighter skin after a series of sessions.
  • Generally comfortable with minimal disruption to daily activities.

Key Treatment Information

This treatment can be applied to areas showing signs of skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, or sagging. Specific areas will be discussed during your consultation.

  • Sessions typically last 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the area
  • A course of 6 to 8 sessions per area is usually recommended, spaced one week apart
  • The exact number of sessions may vary based on individual assessment
  • An in-person evaluation is required before starting treatment

The procedure is designed to be comfortable, often described as similar to a warm massage. Some warmth may be felt during the session, and settings can be adjusted for comfort. Post-treatment, the area might appear slightly red or feel warm, typically resolving within one to two hours. No downtime is required, and normal activities can resume immediately.

This treatment may not be appropriate for individuals with:

  • Active inflammation or infection in the area
  • Current or history of cancer
  • Degenerative neurologic diseases or conditions triggered by heat (e.g., herpes) in the area
  • Internal defibrillators, pacemakers, or certain metal implants (excluding dental)
  • Uncontrolled thyroid disorders, varicose veins, or skin-related autoimmune diseases
  • Silicone implants or injections in the area
  • Pregnancy or undergoing IVF
