What Is Our Anti-Ageing and Skin Hydration Treatment?

Our anti-ageing and skin hydration treatment is an injectable treatment made from hyaluronic acid (HA) . It is a product that can bio-stimulate four types of collagen, elastin and proliferate adipocytes (fat) stem cells to address these anti-ageing issues naturally and effectively. The slow release of our treatment results in natural bio-remodelling of the skin and improved skin quality lasting for up to six months.

How Our anti-ageing and skin hydration treatment Work

Out treatment boasts one of the highest concentrations of HA in the market (64mg / 2ml), which allows it to deeply boost the hydration of the skin and reverse ageing and sagging skin especially in the face, neck and hands with little-to-no downtime. 

HA is hydrophilic which means that it draws and retains water in your body, thereby acting as a hydrator rather than a filler that only fills in wrinkles and plumps the skin temporarily. 

Within 3-5 days, you can witness firsthand transformation of tired and dull-looking skin to firm and luminous skin.

Who is Suitable for Our anti-ageing and skin hydration treatment?

Our treatment is suitable for both men and women with mild to moderate signs of ageing skin. It is highly recommended for patients aged 30-50 years who are looking for an effective method to hydrate their skin and improve skin laxity, elasticity and fine lines. Generally, those above 25 years old can also benefit from this treatment. 

For safety reasons, our treatment is not recommended for patients who have/are:

  • Immunocompromised
  • Allergic to product ingredients
  • Allergic to Gram +ve bacterial proteins or lidocaine
  • Have any infected skin area, such as acne or cold sores
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women

Our Procedure

Before treatment

An initial consultation will be done for all new patients to clinically assess your medical history. We will also give a full explanation of the procedure, clinical and aesthetic benefits, risks, aftercare and consent process for you to make an informed decision. 

The actual treatment itself will take approximately 30 minutes depending on the number of areas treated and whether a local anaesthetic is required. However, as our treatment is subjectively a low pain procedure, numbing is not necessary for most clients.

During treatment

After cleaning and preparing your skin, you will receive a total of 10 subcutaneous injections of our treatment using the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) injection technique. The five key points on the face includes the area next to the ears, the nasolabial fold (laughter lines near the mouth), chin, under the eyes and top of the cheeks.

After injection, it disperses quickly beneath the skin to improve hydration without any need for a massage or risk of leaving lumps or nodules. However, if they are visible it typically dissipates within 24 hours as the product seeps into your skin.

After treatment

The results of our treatment will not be properly seen until four weeks after the second treatment. A follow up appointment will ensure that there are no complications.

What to Expect From The Treatment

Our treatment usually works to smooth and hydrate the skin from the very first treatment but results are more prominent after the second treatment as out treatment takes time to work. By having 2-3 sessions, it allows out treatment to remain in the skin for a longer time, resulting in a longer-lasting response. 

It takes time to stimulate new collagen and elastin production to naturally improve the plumpness, firmness and elasticity of the skin. The results will usually last up to six months post treatment and a repeat cycle is recommended once the initial cycle is over. 

Risks and Side Effects

With all non-surgical aesthetic treatments, there is a risk of side-effects, such as minor bruising or swelling at the injection sites. However, these usually do not occur and subside quickly when they do (within 24 hours).
